Fernando begins solo European Tour on Feb 9th

  • Fernando will play a solo headlning show as a warm up for his tour with legendary San Francisco Singer-Songwriter Mark Eitzel at Phil Grimes Bar in Waterford, Ireland Thursday February 9th. The following day, Fernando joins Mark Eitzel and his band in Kilkenny to begin a month long tour that will take them to thireteen countries throughout the


    UK and Europe.

Vortex Magazine premieres new song by Fernando feat Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey

Vortex Magazine premiers a new unreleased song by Fernando! The song is a country lament called No Regrets and features performances by Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey of REM. The song is included in Fluff and Gravy’s ” Five Years of Gravy”, a Compilation CD that features unreleased tracks by Richmond Fontaine, Hillstomp, Drunken Prayer, Anna Tival, Mike Coykendall, Nick Jaina and many more. All profits from the sales of this CD will be going to The Jeremy Wilson Foundation to benefit musicians that do not have health insurance.

Fernando will be main support for Mark Eitzel on upcoming European Tour!

Fernando has been selected to be main support for Mark Eitzel’s (American Music Club) upcoming European tour which will run February through March. Mark Eitzel will be promoting his new record Hey Mr.Ferryman which is being released Jan 27 2017  on Merge Records (US) and Decor Records (EU) and Fernando will be releasing an exclusive tour EP that includes 6 unreleased tracks from 2001-2015 and his single Save Me.

Tickets for Fernando OMHOF induction

Fernando is being inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame on October 8th 2016. Tickets are still available for the event so buy tickets here. Fernando and his all-star band will be playing and will be joined by fellow Hall of Fame inductees Pete Krebs and Paul Brainard. Also performing will be 2016 inductee Duffy Bishop and co-OMHOF Record of the Year recipients Three Leg Torso!

Fernando and Dan Live at The Belly Up

A couple of weeks ago, Dan Eccles and Fernando opened up for The Jayhawks on a US tour. One of the places that they performed was The Belly Up in Solana Beach near San Diego, California. The sound man at The Belly Up decided to record Fernando and Dan’s set and upon hearing the recording, The Belly Up contacted Fernando to ask permission to release this raw 35 min/ 9 song set to the public so if you are interested this set is now available for purchase at The Belly Up’s website

Jayhawks Tour

Fernando and Dan Eccles just completed a two week tour with Americana legends The Jayhawks who were promoting their excellent new record Paging Mr. Proust. The Fernando band will cap this tour off with a sold out homecoming show on the roof top of The Revolution Hall this Friday, Aug 5th 2016.
